Summer Camps 2022
Rock School Rookies
June 20 – 24
12:00 – 3:00 PM
Ages: 7 – 15
Tuition: $349
Be a Rock Star! Students performing on vocals, guitar, percussion, bass and/or keys are welcome. This class is a crash course into the Park City Rockers Program. Tuition includes 1 hr. of private lessons to be taken the week prior to, or during the week of camp. Camp ends in a live Rock Concert/gig for family and friends on Friday, June 24th.
Patriotic Kids Singing Camp
June 27 – July 1
11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Ages: 5-13
Tuition: $269 / $199 additional family member(s)
Students learn an entire program of patriotic & folk music, using the basic principles of singing/chorus, and presenting a program at various venues around town. There will be a public performance on Saturday, July 2nd, which will be performed pre-show at Utah Symphony’s Deer Valley Music Festival’s Patriotic Pops with LaKisha Jones.
PC Rockers Showband Performance Camp
July 11 – 15

Ages: 9 – 17
Tuition: $349.00
Vocalists, guitarists, percussionists, bassists, and keys players are welcome. This intermediate Rock Camp is for students with prior Rock School experience: thus, students who have completed Rock School Rookies Camp, and/or those who have performed in our weekly Rock School program (or other Rock programs), are welcome. Tuition includes 1 hr. of private lessons to be taken the week prior to, or during the week of camp. Camp ends in a live Rock Concert/gig for family and friends on Friday, July 15th.
Advanced Park City Rockers Camp
July 25 – 30

Ages: 7 – 15
Tuition: $349.00
Prior Rock Band experience required. Auditions may be required. This camp ends with a live performance opening at the Utah Symphony’s Deer Valley Music Festival, on Saturday, July 30th
Tribute to Disney Vocal Camp
Ages: 4-9
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
When: July 25-28
Tuition: $269 / $199 additional family member(s)
Study music and acting through Disney songs, puppetry, and games. Students will perform a Disney program on their last day of camp, and will get a student ticket to the Utah Symphony Deer Valley Music Festival Disney Night, on the evening of Friday the 28th!

PC Rockers @ Deer Valley Music Festival Camp
Ages: 7-15
Time: Noon-3:00 PM
When: July 31 – August 5
Tuition: $349
Be a Rock Star! Vocals, guitar, percussion, bass and keys are welcome. Some experience required. Experienced players and new students with some private lesson experience are welcome. Auditions may be required. Students learn to be responsible to others, read charts, do band set-up, care for gear, and perform as a group. This camp ends with a live Rock Concert for family and friends. Tuition includes 2 hour of private lessons to use before the gig, with at least 1 hour during the week of camp. The camp ends in a pre-show performance for the Utah Symphony Beatles Concert at the Deer Valley Music Festival performing music of the era! Performance will start at 5:30 PM behind the ticket office at Snow Park Lodge.
Orchestra Chamber Prep (12 – Adult)
Time: 10:00 AM-Noon
When: August 7-18
Tuition: $89
The Chamber Prep class is designed to help string players feel comfortable playing in small chamber groups (2-5 players). The class will cover how to use non-verbal communication skills, creating unity and clarity of sound, and musically shaping a piece as a group. The class will consist of 1.5 hours of instruction with a 30 min break. Students participating need at least 3 years of private instruction, 3 years of orchestra classes or other orchestra experience, or 3 years cumulative instruction (i.e. 2 years or orchestra, 1 year of private instructions or vice versa) on the instrument they will be using in the class. All students should be proficient in basic note reading skills. Dress Rehearsal will be August 18, 11-noon, and performance will be August 18. Auditions will be required to help instructor ascertain proper group placement. Non-string players (piano, woodwind, brass, etc.) or players without 3 years experience can join by special permission.
Orchestra Essentials (10 – 16)
Time: 10:00-Noon
When: August 7-18
Tuition: $89
The Orchestra Essentials class is designed to increase students’ comfort level playing in an ensemble and learn skills such as playing with a conductor, playing harmony and melody parts with a group, and simple improvisation. The class will consist of 1.5 hours of instruction with a 30 min break. Students participating need at least 2 years of private instruction, 2 years of orchestra classes, or 2 years cumulative instruction (1 year of both orchestra and private instruction) on the instrument they will be using in the class. Students without 2 years experience can join by special permission. Dress Rehearsal will be August 18, 10-11, and performance will be August 18.
